Sea Walking is a recreational underwater helmet diving system. In India, the activity is carried out at North Bay Island, Elephanta Beach at Havelock Island and Goa. A helmet with a transparent visor is placed on your head which allows normal breathing under water as your face is not in direct contact with water. A professional scuba diver will assist you to the sea bed through the ladder suspended from the deck. Once you are on the sand, you can start the “sea walk” and experience colourful and vibrant corals and fishes. The activity will last for about half an hour after which you will be provided with beautiful pictures of yourself doing the activity. A video can also be obtained at an extra cost. It is advised to pre book the activity at Port Blair to secure your slot and avoid the long queue at the location of the activity.
